When the iPhone 4 was released, we know that just over night there have an enormous number of complaints about the new phone's reception issue and we have all heard about it. But this did not stir all those hard core Apple fans because the market is still quite optimistic for new iPhone. Just recently, the iPhone 4 was also released in China where in was welcomed by more than a thousand excited enthusiasts who even stayed in line for 2 days just to be some to first ones to use the original iPhone 4 in Chinese soil.
To appease the unhappy clients, Apple has started their free case program for anyone who has bought it before September 30 where their clients would download the free bumper or case app and sign in using their iTunes account and claim their free case. The move although unrelated, did do its job to a certain degree of comforting some rather irritated clients. And who wouldn't be, after paying $700 then finding out that it isn't working as promised.
But this time that Apple has chose to stop the free of charge case program, forums flood with comments that they would not push through their intends to purchase the iPhone 4 and would probably buy a Blackberry unit to use as their smart phone.
When our clients purchase their iPhone insurance from us, they are assured that if their phone were stolen or suffered damages especially the most common which is liquid damages that their iPhone would be replaced. Although comprehensive iPhone insurance does have stringent compliance to follow when claiming to avoid insurance fraud, it nonetheless delivers the security our clients need. But total insurance for iPhone cannot cover an issue like the iPhone 4's reception and antennae problem and that concerns our clients.
Giving away free cases in a way did its job for Apple of at least mending some disappointments, and now taking it out totally? I sure hope Apple management knows what they are doing.
