The Apple iPhone is a popular tech toy first released on 2007. Steve Jobs had a vision for this new creation and launched it, which made for long lines in malls and such. This phones has a unique touch screen design, and featured games, internet access and apps. Only AT&T distributed the phone at the time and had a retail cost of $599. Apple lovers and techies alike lined up outside of AT&T stores to be the first ones to have this phone. It was only made available to certain countries then. Read on to know more on a brief history about iPhone 4G design.

Summer of 2008 was when the iPhone 3G was issued. It was made obtainable to a lot more countries this time around as well as the original ones too. The year after that, iPhone 3GS was issued. Lots of people argued the cost and so the solution was to take down the cost of the 8GB iPhone 3G. 64 million copies of this phone are active within the United States alone.

The phones initially were made wit an aluminum backing The 3G was made with a plastic back so it could have a stronger signal. The new 4G was crafted with a glass front and back design It also had steel edging to make for antennas. It was first issued in only black and now users can have both black and white.

In early 2011, Verizon had struck a deal with Apple to begin carrying the iPhone 4 in its stores. It was released on February 10th of that year. Once released it account for a lot of ad sales for Verizon at the time.

The screen is a touch screen made with non scratch glass and responds to bare fingertips. The resolution is 640 by 960. Both fingers and styluses can be used to navigate around the phone. It only comes with maybe four or five buttons and one large button which serves as a "home" button. It closes all open applications. There are also two tiny buttons on the side for control of the volume.

The bottom of the phone is where the speakers are housed. There is a loudspeaker at the top of the iPhone to cancel noise and outside sounds. It is compatible with a lot of Bluetooths for hands free settings, and headphones as well. The battery is non replaceable. However, if it dies the users can have it replaced under warranty. It can be charged with a wall socket or a USB cord for computers.

The new 4G model is the first one to be made with two separate cameras. One is made for picture taking and the other is for recording. The camera on the back is for taking pictures and has 5.0 megapixels. The one on its front is for video. One can send recorded videos to synced computers, to YouTube, or even emails.

The original iPhone had just two storage sizes, which were 4G or 8G. The 4G SIM was discontinued in '07. There are now 16 GB's and 32 GB's. IPhone 4G is available in both. To remove the SIM card, it can be emitted with a paper clip or something else.
