Some Useful Tips For Taking Better Photos With Your iPhone

Ever needed to take better photographs on your iPhone? You know how it is... You've a perfect photo opportunity, you whip out your true iPhone, tap the Camera icon and snap! Unfortunately, the photo generally turns out misty or fuzzy and is totally upsetting.

Don't worry! I have got some background in photography and I sort if interpreted that information into taking photos with the iPhone!

1. Have Steady Hands

First and foremost, to take good pictures on the iPhone, you have to have steady hands. Hold that iPhone firmly and continuously before snapping. This does wonders for the standard of the photograph you take.

2. Use The Flash

If you are the fortunate owner of an iPhone 4, make sure you use it's in-built flash unit. Powerful lighting is always important for taking good photos. Check out another one of my articles here to understand why.

3. Compose Your Photo Correctly

There are basic ground rules for composing good pictures. One of them is the Rule of 3rds, meaning that you can divide up your picture into 3 parts. Each part should have some subject of relevance to ensure the photograph is well composed. Read up about this technique.

4. Take Multiple Shots

Taking multiple shots in fast succession is one way to make sure you catch a good picture, especially for action shots. For instance, if your youngster is running around, it is often best to snap multiple photos in fast succession so as to get a better photograph on the iPhone. There are also some good programs for doing this in the App Store.

5. Housekeep Your Photos

One vital thing is to housekeep your photographs. I'm guilty of not doing this enough! There are countless thousands of pictures on my iPhone and I am worried that one day I have a nice picture to take (e.g. The Eiffel Tower) and I'm out of space on the iPhone! You know what I mean. So do your housekeeping!
