Some Great Tips about Improving the Battery Charge Lifespan on Your iPhone

By Morten Hansen

Many iPhone users tend to have problems with the endurance of their batteries. The common complaint being the batteries are defective because they run out too swiftly. In most cases, this is false. The phone's battery life can be boosted with a few tweaks. These include:

1. Turning off the Bluetooth when not in use

Bluetooth is employed in file transfer between certain phones and PCs. It could also be used when making calls and listening to music with a suitable gadget. But this capacity drains the battery very quickly. One is advised to use this capability when other choices are absent.

2. Switch off the Wi-Fi

When you are not actively using it in a wireless hot spot, it is advisable to turn it off. The wireless adaptor tends to exhaust the battery in just one or two hours. Also, avoid repeated use of Wi-Fi when other choices are available.

3. Reduce screen lightness

The screen takes up the majority of the battery energy because of its sheer size. Since it is not viable to switch it off altogether, scale back the lightness to the minimum. You can set the lightness to adjust automatically dependent on the character of lighting around you.

4. Switch off push notifications

These notifications exhaust your battery at very high rates. This is because most of us have multiple applications installed, all of which give constant notices. The iPhone also has inbuilt notification capabilities. The mixed effect is your iPhone battery running out after very few hours.

5. Turn off or location services

The iPhone has inbuilt GPS capacities. Also, there are lots of applications that permit you to find people and places e.g. Grinder. These location services take up a large amount of power so it is advisable to switch them off when you are not using them.

6. Turn on the lock feature

This feature permits the telephone to lock itself when not in use. It will prevent random calls or activation of battery draining activities as the phone moves around in the pocket. It is a simple yet effective action.

7. Turn off music capacities

Switch off the radio when not in use as the antenna drains the battery when in use. You need to also consider turning off the music equalizer. This feature improves the sound quality but also drains the battery at astonishingly high rates.

8. Turn off the vibrator mode

This feature can be employed with games, some programmes and the iPhone's built-in capabilities like the alarm clock. Turning it off at certain times could help you get a few more hours out of your battery.

In a nutshell, to save the battery life of your iPhone, you should consider switching off all pointless features that aren't actively being used.
