Why A Contract iPhone Is A Better Choice Than One With A Pay-As-You-Go Plan

By Theodore Bioroldlly

The iPhone 4S is Apple's best smartphone yet. It has a much faster processor, better camera, and a bevy of new and improved software than its predecessors. To make the most out of your iPhone 4S it is suggested to purchase one with a plan. There are a number of benefits to buying a phone with a plan. For starters, those who got contract phones get to enjoy reduced text, call, and data charges and they avoid making a one-off payment for the phone itself. There are also more perks available to postpaid clients which give them even more bucks for their dollars.

Convenience is also another advantage to getting postpaid phone plans. Instead of paying several times each month so you can continue to use your phone, you are just going to pay once a month for postpaid plans, and in most instances, it can be done by direct debit to your bank account.

With contract or plan phones, you also get to enjoy better service reliability and security. Should there be any issues relating to the service, these can be easily resolved with little or no cost to you. With a prepaid phone, you would have to shoulder the expenses should any problem arise.

There are a number of mobile service providers in Australia which have iPhone plans. Some of the most popular are Vodafone, Telstra, Optus, and Virgin Mobile. The least expensive plan you can obtain is from Virgin Mobile. If your budget is lean, get a plan from Virgin Mobile. The included value of this plan is only around $50 which is equivalent to thirty minute worth of calls, about forty text and MMS messages, and 50 MB of data. Another inexpensive iPhone plan is from Vodafone which costs $47, but unlike Virgin Mobile's, has an included value of $180. This option will give you only 200 MB for data, which can be equivalent to 1,400 web pages, 200 emails, and 13 videos.

Optus' and Telstra's iPhone 4S plans start at $65. Both plans will give you with 1.5 MB of data. The Optus plan's included value is $650 but Telstra's plan gives you $550 worth of MMS and talk minutes, and infinite text messaging service.

If you use your phone a lot, and you have the financial resources for it, consider getting an unlimited plan. At $79, Vodafone's unlimited plan is also the most inexpensive in the group. The unlimited plans from other networks cost upward of $90.
