Integrating A Universal Cell Phone Car Mount

By Rena Hudson

The technology of today has really taken a large leap forward over what was available just 5 short years ago. Our smart phones of today can do more than ever before and really have become the go to and on all device that we have always wanted them to be. Add to this a universal cell phone car mount and you can use them while driving for any of their available and helpful functions.

The various functions available for today's smart phone user are unprecedented. In the past certain companies made stand alone GPS mapping systems specifically for helping people get around while driving. That has not changed, those companies still exist and they still manufacture mapping devices. The difference is that a cell phone can do the same thing.

The cell phones however quickly picked up their own navigation systems and GPS chips and when they did many of the stand alone mapping systems became almost obsolete. The phones could do the navigating and so much more. They became indispensable to many drivers and it didn't matter where they were heading.

These devices worked their way into the hands of professional drivers quickly too. People like professional truck drivers. People who used maps all the time because of their need to travel all over the country were finding that their phones had access to any map ever made providing they had the right connection. This changed too however as 4G LTE networks sprung up everywhere.

The other half who does understand how to use it and what to do with it are really changing the market place because of what they are showing most of the rest of us. Take for instance when mapping on the devices first came about. It quickly turned from a simple map to one with a satellite overlay. This really got the attention of a lot of people early on.

That was until a better system came about. A few companies were able to design mounts that could hold any type of device or any size of device. The grip would slide and adjust to accommodate the size of the device they were going to hold. On top of that they would not stick to the windshield with adhesive and leave a big nasty mark.

Some of the mounts were not all that great unfortunately. Some of them could not hold the weight of some phones and some would not fit the size. Some of them would drop the devices while going over bumps and some of them left big sticky residue on the window from the adhesive that held the mount.

Safety is and always will be a concern and rightfully so. The universal cell phone car mount that has been developed over the last couple years seems to have finally worked out whatever bugs they had. Just like any new product it takes time to get it right. Now that they have, there is nothing that you cannot put and use in your car while driving.
