Iphone 4 rumors debunked starting now including when and if the white iphone 4 is coming out, if the factory unlocked iphone 4 really exists or can you only jailbreak them. Also, if you can jailbreak how is it done?
First, Obviously the white Iphone 4 is not being release for Christmas season. If it was going to happen it would've happened by black Friday. Also a press release by Apple stated "we're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iphone yet again but we've decided to delay it's release until spring." But it gets more interesting..
The iphone 5 may be release soonafter (if not at the same time) as the white iphone 4 therefore truthfully it May Not Even Be Worth Waiting for! If they were released at the same time that would be nice, or only the white iphone 5. It's all speculation at this point. The rumor began and spread based on this email by Steve Jobs this past summer despite the email being extremely mysterious.
Here is the email: "Hello Steve, My name is Nathan, I am a high school student from San Bernardino. I also happen to be one of your biggest fans and a total proud Apple fanboy. I have been saving money to buy the new Iphone 4. I want the white one but Apple said it will not be available until later this year. I know you must be asked this question hundreds of times a day but do you think we can expect to get the white Iphone before xmas? I hope you can answer. Thank you Steve." And the answer from Steve in his short and to the point way was: "Christmas is later this year. Sent from my iPhone"
Everyone is so anxious for answers they'll just explode any remark by Steve Jobs. Notice though that this remark seems to say no more than yes. And the most important factor here is it really says Nothing. Now, onto demystifying factory unlocked iphones and jailbroken phones. To start yes they both exist. The newest iphone release usually takes a few months for the code to be jailbroken. You can get any Iphone jailbroken really, new or old. Where you ask? Start by searching your local cellphone repair stores and craigslist. You'll probably have the most luck at your local cell phone repair store.
