This Will Be Our Own Review Of The IPhone 3GS Smart Phone

By Adam Lamberd

I am sure that just about everybody has heard of the iPhone. This is considered one of Apple's best sellers of all time. While the iPhone's competition still try to beat out the iPhone, it continues to be one of the best selling smart phones. The advancements of the smart phones and the software which power them are constantly being updated due to the demand on the phones. And for many people newer isn't always better. The iPhone 4 has made a massive mark in the world associated with smart phones but that hasn't stopped men and women from continuing to purchase the iPhone 3GS.

Advantages

The main reason that the iPhone 3GS is such a popular phone is principally due to the ground work that the previous designs performed. While not everybody is crazy about the iPhone, the app store has over three hundred thousand applications which were developed by other people, for only that phone. No other competitors can use the iOS operating system and iPhone customers usually get to enjoy the most recent applications before Android or any other platform users. What makes the iPhone 3GS even more attractive compared to its predecessors is its support for the iOS 4 operating system that works natively on the iPhone 4. The update available for this phone takes the phone to a brand new level by offering faster browser speeds.

On the hardware end, the iPhone 3GS looks like the past 2 iPhones which is good for those that are already used to the style. While the display received no cosmetic enhancements, the surface of the touchscreen display is actually more resistant against smudges and fingerprints. Another improvement will be the camera, which now boasts 3 mega pixels and one of my personal favorite features the actual auto focus function. Video recording is also decent checking in at 30 frames per second and the built-in editor is actually friendly to use and supports direct uploading to YouTube.

Down Sides

Multitasking is an issue with the iPhone 3GS, although people usually only perform one thing at a time on their phones anyway, this is not as big of a downside as some might think. In fact, if you compare the 3G and 3GS, the list of variations isnt really that much aside from the speed enhancements. Some people think that the iPhone 4 is a much better investment together with the even more improved camera along with other options, but if you simply want the basics this particular phone is extremely good.

Conclusion

The fact that you can easily pick up this smartphone for $49 through AT&T providing you sign up for a two year contract, makes this specific phone extremely attractive to lots of people. Don't forget that this cell phone was $200 when it first came out through AT&T which means this nominal charge now makes this phone very attractive.
