Here Is One Use For Reverse Phone Lookup

By Chris Thompson

You can use reverse phone lookup to find out who keeps calling you. You can try finding out for free online yourself or you can pay a small fee to a phone lookup service.

You might be able to find the information yourself for free using a search engine. If you have the complete ten digit number, enter it into the search box. Enter the area code first, and then leave a space, and then enter the telephone number prefix, and then leave a space, and then enter the last four digits of the telephone number. Now click the submit button.

If you do not see the information you want, then instead of typing in the area code, instead enter the city of that area code. For example, the 213 area code represents Los Angeles. Replace the digits 213, with the words Los Angeles, leave a space, enter the telephone prefix, leave a space, and then the last four digits of the telephone number.

If this still does not work, put quotes around the seven digits in order to tell the search engine you want the numbers searched in the order verses a random list of those numbers. If this is not working, then you might need to try a paid service online.

Many receive calls on their mobile phones they cannot return. This is because companies trying to sell everything to magazine subscriptions to gas coupons to people via their cell phones, use telephone based numbers that cannot be called back.

You can try entering the number into the search engine. In a lot of cases you will find websites where people have left comments about the number you are researching. If the call is from a company soliciting, you will read from others that they have gotten the same calls.

Once you read about other people getting the calls, you can add that number to your list of blocked telephone numbers. This is on way to use reverse phone lookup.
