My Favorite IPhone Games

By Scott Prince

While I'm not such a big fan of the way my iPhone handles calls, I have to say that the games make the phone worth owning. There are some incredible games that go way above and beyond anything I've ever seen on a cell phone.

The games continue to improve, as updates and new versions are constantly released. Some of them are incredibly addicting. I've never paid money for an iPhone app, so the ones that I mention here are all free games that you'll have no problem downloading and enjoying if you have the phone. Let's take a look at my top three.

First on my list is a game called paper toss. Maybe you've seen it in the top downloads section. If you haven't downloaded it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. If you've ever thrown a crumpled piece of paper into a garbage from your desk chair, it's just like that.

With three levels, you can determine the distance from the garbage and the strength of a fan that's blowing the paper in different directions. Depending on the strength and placement of your push, the paper may or may not get into the garbage.

The next game that I've fallen in love with is Cameraman, made by ESPN. You've probably enjoyed a similar concept before, but this is the type of game that puts you on a timer and requires you to find a bunch of differences between two very similar pictures.

All of the questions are sports-themed, and they're really challenging too. I would definitely look into this one if it sounds like it may appeal to you.

If you like word games, you definitely need to get Scramble, which is also a free game. It's just like Boggle, except you'll be able to play against a ton of people at the same time, all of them having the same board as you. It's a lot of fun to see where you end up ranking when all is said and done.

Try any of these games out. Based on their overall popularity, I have a feeling you'll enjoy them very much.
