By Elmer Richardson

Digital camera cases can go a long way in ensuring your precious camera remains safe and lives a long life. Cameras enable you to one day look back at all the memorable days you had in your life, both the good and the bad. In a way you are freezing different frames of your life and doesn't it make sense to protect such a handy device? Memories are after all we can look back on in the end.

Digital camera cases come in two different types. There is the compact camera case and the SLR case. Compact cases are just as the name suggests used to keep smaller cameras like ordinary digital cameras. You can get them in a variety of sizes from small to large with extra compartments. Depending on your needs, you can choose accordingly. The compact cases can be further categorized into three different types and they are the closed cell foam cases, thermo-molded nylon cases and leather cases.

An SLR case is meant for the larger SLR cameras. SLR cameras are more expensive than normal digital cameras and require greater care. The various parts are very expensive and therefore due to its delicate nature, you will need a soft padded case with separate compartments to hold the various accessories. The different types of SLR cases are rectangular cases, triangular cases, fanny packs and backpacks.

The role that an iPod Nano case plays is just as important and useful as the digital camera case. But in these cases you have more freedom of choice as far as color and design is concerned. They also come in different materials from plastic to leather. The iPod Nano case can also be worn on your belt making it very convenient for you to carry your ipod around.

The various colors of the iPod Nano case is also very beneficial if you're the sort who likes to personalize your devices. There are so many different and exciting colors to choose from. But no matter what kind of a case you're interested in getting always ensure that they are both waterproof and sturdy. Some might be a little pricey, but why compromise on the safety of your devices.
