Why Electronic Cigarettes use Atomizers

By Gareth Jale

Ecigarettes are small, electronic devices that provide a realistic and enjoyable smoking experience. Smokers who are adventurous will often try these cigarettes will enjoy many benefits. These devices will help you save money, be safer, and are also more sanitary than a regular cigarette. Smokers won't have to worry about a lingering cigarette smell, bad breath, yellow teeth, or annoying ash. Plus, because electronic cigarettes produce a vapor, instead of smoke, these cigarettes can be enjoyed almost anywhere. This is what really confuses customers. How do these devices produce a nicotine vapor? Also, is the vapor really similar to what cigarette smokers are used to?

The most important part of an e-cigarette is the atomizer. Electronic cigarette are made up of three different components which are the cartridge, the atomizer, and the battery. The cartridge is what holds the nicotine, the atomizer helps the device vaporize the nicotine found in the cartridge and the battery is what powers the atomizer. The nicotine that e-cigarettes vaporize is very different than the nicotine contained in regular cigarettes. All of the regular cigarettes contain tobacco that has different substances like nicotine and even many types of tar and toxins. E-cigarettes contain e-juice. This e-juice is what contains the nicotine that is burned by the atomizers. E-juice can also be flavored and will not contain any of the harmful tar or toxins. This is why many experts believe that electronic cigarettes are very beneficial to health of smokers. E-cigarette smokers are not exposed to as many dangerous carcinogens.

E-cigarette atomizers also contain three main components: a microprocessor, a sensor, and a wick. The wick absorbs the nicotine liquid held in the cartridge. The microprocessor is the device that actually vaporizes the nicotine. The two types of sensors found in an electronic cigarette are the manual and air flow sensors. An air flow sensor will turn itself on when a user inhales. Most of the new e-cigarettes are designed with air flow sensors, since these provide a more realistic experience.

Most atomizers are built to last around six months with regular use. Once a user notices that their vapor is losing its flavor, it's time to replace the atomizer. Atomizers are very easily priced and are also easy to replace. Depending on the type of brand and flavor you can spend anywhere from $10 to $50 for a replacement. The electronic cigarette can be unscrewed and the replacement atomizer can then be put into place. You will also find a great number of tips that can help you get the most out of your atomizer.

If properly maintained you will have an atomizer that provides the user with a full flavored vapor. The taste and feel of the vapor is very similar to the smoke produced by regular cigarettes. The feeling that e-cigarettes produce while inhaling is also very similar. The main difference is that the vapor quickly dissipates after a user exhales. It won't leave behind offensive odors or annoy the people around the smoker.
