The Future Of The Apple Iphone In The Forthcoming Decades.

By Erin Mills

If we are to consider the facts and figures, the Apple Iphone has already made approximately 12.992 million sales of its unit world wide since its release of the iPhone 3GS.

They have also reported an estimate of around 1.7 million units of the new iPhone 4 since its release last June 24 in only a matter of 3 days. So just by these numbers alone, we can be sure that the iPhone mania may still be well positioned in the next 5 years or so.

This is not considering another fact that even though there have been some negative reports about the iPhone, still there are plenty of consumers wanting to use it compared to other brands.

Particularly the new iPhone 4, we have heard of reports of its poor connection and reception problems that were actually acknowledged by Apple. They apologized and even offered a free update on the software that is supposed to correct the low signal in the signal bar of the phone.

Apple also said that if any of their clients were dissatisfied with their iPhone 4, they can still return it and get a full refund providing that they return it with in 30 days upon purchase and without damage.

In the midst of these issues, we can still find a very large number of people in US, Canada and in UK who are still interested to get Apple products. In a recent survey, at least 83% of users would still prefer their iPhone compared to other brands of smart phone in the market and would even be interested to get iPhone insurance as well for their Apple unit.

Though in Japan, they have a more different way of looking at the iPhone. It is very unpopular amongst Japanese citizens due to the fact that they are more into pictures and videos which are some what weak points in the Apple iPhone.

Some say that it will almost be impossible to tap the Japanese market since the majority of them don't want to use foreign brands.

But Apple need not worry since we see a very stable trend in other countries in US and Europe. The demand for iPhone apps and accessories are still a consistent high ranking term in Google searches.

Plus the continuous demand as well for iPhone insurance can make us almost guarantee the popularity of this smart phone to not dwindle even 5 years from now. We may expect another generation of the iPhone's design like the iPhone 4i or maybe the iPhone 5 but we can be pretty sure the Apple will still retain that original design that made it a best seller in the phone market.
