I have been driven crazy over the last six months with my laptop battery.
I have had to replace the battery twice already because the laptop is quite old. But I was told that the battery was no longer being made the last time I tried to replace it. I was a bit upset about this because I felt that they could have told me this when I first bought the computer. This means that for the past few months I have had to put up with this battery running out of charge really quickly and then just failing to charge altogether.
I know it wasn't the end of my laptop because I had my mains power to get it working. I consoled myself with the knowledge that at least the computer was still working; I didn't realise he significance of not having a battery in your laptop. As well as being an inconvenience, you also have no back up power supply for your laptop. So I end up with a dead laptop every time I accidentally knock out the lead for the power supply out of the laptop. And believe it or not, I have come to realise that I knock out the plug on a regular basis; at least once every day. So I have ended up very close to dumping the laptop in the bin out of sheer frustration because of the number of times that I have lost documents that I was working on.
However I have come across a solution to this problem in recent days - an external battery. The external battery is a great alternative to having an internal battery although obviously not the perfect solution. The good news is that now when I knock the plug out or the power stops my work is safe. This was quite a reasonably priced purchase and it is certainly paying for itself.
Memory cards can be found in countless products nowadays. iphone accessories happen to be a great example of this also. Another one that is used nowadays is the ipod accessories.
