Using Different Types of Cell Phone Chargers

By Gareth Jale

It seems impossible these days in the United States to go to any mall or shopping area without finding at least one person using a smart phone. Whether you call them smart phones, cell phones, mobile phones, or simply phones, what is clear is that the technology is here, and likely will continue to be here for a long time. The features provided by smart phones appear to be limitless. However, all the extra features of phones today cost energy, and there are only so many hours you can squeeze out of a battery, no matter how much capacity it ships with. When this happens is exactly when you will start looking for charging options for your device. Since smart phones do tend to be a bit popular, manufacturers have created a number of ways that the user can charge their mobile device.

Perhaps the most popular form of charger available for cell phones is the trusty AC wall charger. All you require is a wall AC outlet and you are ready to go. Within a few minutes or hours, your phone will be ready to go. One of the downsides to this type of charger is that you can only use it where ever you have an AC outlet.

A car charger is probably the second most popular charger but that does not mean that it is not important. This is the go to charger for people interested in talking endlessly on their phones while on the road. With a DC charger, you can travel far and wide across town, state, and country without being left in the wilderness by your depleted battery. However, you can only use this device in your car, this is the only disadvantage with these kind of chargers.

A third popular form of charger that you can pick up for smart phones is the laptop USB powered charger. This offers the advantage of coming with you wherever your computer does, which means that for business and office workers tethered to their desktops or laptops, there will always be a way to keep their phones powered. The only thing that this will require is a USB port that works.

Everytime you purchase a charger you should look in to the specifications to make sure that it is compatible with your device. It is not smart to purchase a charger and not check it till you get home or worse till your phone needs to be charged.

As you can see, there are lots of options available when it comes to charging your phone. You can find a number of HTC Inspire accessories, HTC Thunderbolt accessories, or Motorola Atrix accessories in most smart phone stores in malls or over the internet.
