How Much For Delivery? - Universal Phone Mount Review

By Matthew Sanchez

Other than that, it's awesome. I was pretty happy with this mount. For the price you can't beat this mount. It has an opening for the volume buttons and the charger.

The vent clips were a little stiff, but I'd rather have that than it be too loose. I'm sure it will loosen with age. I have also found out that my Magellan maestro has the same mounting spots. Came in handy since my mount was stolen (yeah someone only stole the mount). It works perfectly with the Samsung Epic 4G.

I wanted to get a car dock for my smartphone without having to take the case off. This car dock is well made, and comes with a car vent attachment as well.

It is the highest quality suction attachment that sticks and also had a clamp action that further sucks it to the window. I cannot pull it off the window pulling really hard (once you flip the suction clamp, it is easy to remove). I was skeptical when I ordered this windshield mount, even though it has gotten positive reviews. I've paid more than that at a mall for a mount that rattled when I drove and fell apart when I touched it the wrong way. It is the kind of quality I'd expect from a mount costing three times the price. I purchased this mount to hold my Galaxy S II while I'm driving so that I could make use of the phone's navigation system. If your car does have a Bluetooth audio system, this will just make that system better by providing a great place to put your phone. The unit feels a bit flimsy upon initial inspection, but has proven to be quite durable in spite of first impressions.

I was leery at first with ordering it due to some reviews but couldn't beat the price. It works great! However so far it has been great. I bought this for my Droid Incredible 2 because I needed something that would let me navigate, listen to music, and answer calls safely through my car's radio, WITHOUT using my hands to do it. I will still keep it, but will use it with a little caution. Also, the side grips cover up the volume and make it hard to have the phone plugged in to charge while mounted. It is substantial enough for my EVO 4G smartphone. Puts the phone accessible to easily take calls with a touch when driving (I don't do outgoing). Looking forward to trying them! The only downside I can think of is that when you push the little button to release your phone, the shock of the springs releasing the 2 arms that hold the phone in position seem to be so forceful that I worry they might break at some point in the future.

This product is perfect. I'm currently using the air vent holder and find that there are no distractions at all.
