Apple IPhone 5, The Hype And Expectations

By Luke Jackson

One would have least imagined about the grand opening that iPhone 4 had received at the time of its inauguration. The whole planet seemed to be gunning for it at that moment. However, something is not right with the iconic phone as early launch of its next version, iPhone 5, is being speculated.

A number of improvements over iPhone 3 were made in it and new interesting features were added to it. The rear camera was equipped with some really cool features. This coupled with the numerous other characteristics made iPhone 4 a chart-buster of sorts. It was being dubbed the greatest phone to hit the market ever. But what made Apple to reportedly advance the release of next product?

Quite a big hype has got generated in past few weeks signalling early launch of fifth generation iPhone. Many Apple fans have got infuriated over the below par characteristics of the fourth generation phone. This might have left the company worried about losing its market to its competitors, who have swarmed the worldwide market. This in turn might have prompted it to do some damage control in the form of an early release.

In better times, Apple would release its phone once in a year, mostly around middle of the year. When the product would be well received by the consumers, it would get their feedback and make necessary improvements. This cycle went on for many years, but it may break this time.

The major problem that the fifth generation phone ought to fix is that of call-drop. Consumers have complained about this issue ever since the phone debut. It would also need to fix the issues like improper rear camera and the weak glass that shatters easily. Apart from these fixes, few more exciting features are being expected to be added in it.

It is being expected that the new product will have a bigger screen of around 3.7 inches. Since 4G connectivity is just around the corner, it is expected to have this feature. There is a hope that Near Field Technology (NFC) will be incorporated into it as well. This technology will enable it for use as a virtual credit or debit card.

As the trend goes, a new operating system will accompany the iPhone 5. It would be great if Apple provides support for additional carriers apart from ATT. Fans of iPhone series are holding their breath on the prospects of what is going to be in and out of its next edition.
