Best Jailbreaking Software Applications: Are They For Real, Or Are They Scams?

By Cort Rickles

Someone told me a few days ago that there is no such thing as an iPhone unlocking application; that even the best jailbreak software is just a scam and doesn't even really exist. I've always been very interested in hacking iPhones, and since I recently purchased one, I decided to look into this issue.

Here's what I learned: Normally, every time a new IOS comes out for an iPhone, a new way of breaking it has to be created. The way that this is done is by poring over tens of millions of lines of the IOS's programming code using special hacking software. What I found out is that this is beyond the capability of even casual hackers. It takes elite teams of crack hacking squads to accomplish this. Now, do you really believe that everyone who has an iPhone has gone through this process? Have they either done it themselves, or paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire these elite geek squads?

Or is it more likely that they are simply buying the best jailbreak software that they can find and cracking their phones in an automated way?

So, if you're not under the mistaken impression that every other iPhone owner in the world is an elite hacker and you're not, then think about this: If other people ARE indeed automatically cracking their phones, where are they getting the jailbreaking applications. Are they buying them at garage sales? Are they buying them from some guy in a dark alley? Or do you think that they are actually buying them from the scores of websites that offer them for sale?

So then, I started looking into whether maybe it really were possible to buy jailbreak software from websites that sell jailbreak software. I logged onto over 20 of them, and lo and behold, they accepted Paypal! Now, with Paypal, if you get scammed, or you are not satisfied with a purchase, they will reverse the charge with one click. I bought a jailbreaking package, and it actually worked! I even tried asking for a refund from Paypal just for fun, and they gave it to me!

So- does that add up for you? Do you understand what I deciphered? Do you see why it's completely safe to buy jailbreak software from an online vendor?
